In 1984, the old aduana building in

Barranquilla Atlántico was declared a


national monument.
The building reopened in 1921 there
are 3 different sections, a central with
2 floors and 2 lateral wings of 1 floor
each.
There is a central lobby on the first
floor. The second floor has a large
space divided into 3 longitudinal strips
by 2 rows of slender columns. The
distribution of workplaces is obtained
by low-rise divisions and iron lattices.
