Soccer Business Conversation
Soccer Business Conversation
It’s the awarding of the Golden Ball and in the ceremony are the most
important personalities of soccer. The party continues in a room where
groups are formed that converse amusingly. Suddenly, Angel Cast,
representative of soccer players, realizes that in the next group is Jhon
Depp, the president of Liverpool. So, Angel decides to get closer.
A: I tell him that we represent two young soccer players who are standing
out in their local professional league. (who are you telling? Speaking in third
person in a dialog would indicate someone else)
J: At Liverpool we’ve a policy of signing players from South America with an
outstanding performance in their continental leagues.
A: Yes of course. They study English and German for a profession with
projection.
J: Fantastic, it's good progress for your professions. Does your company
also represent players from the lower divisions?
A: Yes of course. At the moment we’ve children with a lot of talent and
ambition. (They) are category 2010.
J: At the club we plan to implement new soccer schools in South America.
How do you analyse (analize) the performance of this sector in this
continent?
A: There is a lot of talent to perfect (has no meaning in this sentence,
maybe just take it out), but little support from local clubs more important.
It’s a good investment opportunity.
J: The objective of our schools is the personal development of their
students.
J: I’d like you to know the club headquarters and we can continue with this
talk. I (will) wait for you tomorrow at 10 am. Nice to meet you.
A: The pleasure is mine, see you tomorrow.
