THE MALL HAS HAD SEVERAL FAIRLY SUCCESSFUL VENTURES AT THEIR FACILTY OVER THE YEARS BUT PROBLEMS STEMMING FROM POOR MANAGEMENT IN THE PAST HAS KEPT IT FROM ITS FULL POTENTIAL. THE FACILITY OFFERS OVER 500,000 ‘SQUARE FEET OF AVAILABLE INDOOR SPACE AND SITS ON ROUGHLY 92 ‘ACRES OF LAND. THE MALL SITS ROUGHLY 2 MILES OFF OF |-64. THIS DEVELOPMENT WILL PUT THIS SITE ON A WHOLE NEW TRAJECTORY. THE VISION Hao to CONVENTION CENTER This space will be a 75,000 square foot convention and exposition center. This space will be built out in a $5 million renovation project by the Boyd County government. This will make it one of the largest convention ORTH and exposition STERN spaces in Eastern ENTUCKY Kentucky. CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER HOTEL/RESTAURANT This hotel will be attached to the 75,000 square foot convention and exposition center. This hotel will be around 300 rooms and will have a restaurant on the first floor. It will also feature some additional smaller meeting spaces to help compliment the larger convention space. Though other hotels will be utilized in the area for conventions, this hotel will provide an all inclusive option for guests and convention goers. MALIBU JACK’S This Malibu Jack's will be their newest and largest store. It will come in at 135,000 SQ. FT. It will feature 16 lanes of bowling, a full go-cart track, mini-golf course, lazer tag arena, indoor roller coasters, 3D experience rides, and a state of the art arcade. Other amenities include large jungle gym, birthday rooms, and full food beverage service. This Malibu Jack's will be their crown jewel of the company and make it one of the hottest destinations for families in Eastern Kentucky. REVAMPED THEATER/ RESTAURANT The space of the current independent theater will come with the sale of the mall. It will be revamped with modern amenities that bring the theater up to times and new approaches, like the sale of beer, will be embraced pads by our new managment wW group. The restaurant :CINEMA\ space will also be revamped and —Sabaaeteeg 4 Py modernized. P LANDING FARMERS MARKET The farmers market will be another build funded by the Boyd County Government. It will be used for the traditional farmers market on certain days but will also be utilized as c venue for wine tastings, wedding receptions, and other venue uses. It will also be used for special events through the distilery. With a total investment of $1 Million, It willbe the premier framers market in all of Eastern Kentucky. UPSCALE RESIDENTIAL This is an, Cor of the upscale residential complex that will be utilized at the site. This will fill a much needed gap in upscale housing in our community and will help recruit/retain young professionals in the region. SPORTSPLEX This space would hold 125,000 SQ. FT. indoor sportsplex that would offer yearround volleyball, baskeball, wrestling, pickleball and opportunity for other sports. Tournaments throughout the year would create a steady stream of visitors to the facilty and make a massive impact on our local economy. DISTILLERY NICHE RETAIL & FUTURE DEVELOPMENT As stated before, we know that for the future of this mall to be a success, it cannot continue as a traditional mall. However, that doesn't mean that certain retailers can't find success at this location. With the hiring of Retail Strategies by the Boyd County government, this development will have one of the nations best retail and restaurant recruitment firms at their desposal for new developments inside the former mall and around it on the SH) cetai 92 acre campus of the property.
