Introduction/ ACTIVITY 1: “ BEST STORIES”

Motivation

(15 minutes) Direction: The class will be grouped into four. Each group will be asked
to read a short story (a different story per group) from the book “Uncle
Arthur’s BEST STORIES.” After ten minutes the book will be returned to
the teacher. Then each group will narrate in front of the class all the
things that happen in the story they had read. Each of the members must
contribute in narrating the events of the text in correct sequence.
