Milk Dairy Management System 4

Introduction
1.1 Introduction to System
The Milk dairy uses manual system for maintaining milk details and its
related information. It also uses tools like excel sheet for keeping various
type of information. The overall system was very complex and involves
lots of paper work. The processing required for manual system is
described in following section.

1.2 Brief Description of Current System

They keep separate ledger for keeping different types of information. At
a time more than one supplier details also from various supplier related
all kind of information. So, they need to track of its details also billing.
Every entry has separate report so they need to do lot of paper works for
it. Whenever any new member comes, they need to keep information
about him such as name, rate from which milk, etc. It can be seen that as
everything is maintained manually on papers several ledger/files have to
be maintained. Also searching becomes difficult which increases the
overheads.

1.3 Limitations of current system

• The current system has to handle all activity such as recording,
maintaining all papers regarding items purchased. It involves lot
of paper work.
• It is a time-consuming process and care has to take about keeping
all ledgers safe. Even loss of single paper can cause a trouble.
• They also use excel like tools to maintain records. Similarly for
every member they have to maintain separate record so searching
becomes very difficult as there exits so many items.

Proposed System

2.1 Objectives of the proposed system

Milk Dairy wants a general software package to be made for management

of Business, which can easy the work of the managing many items,
supplier simultaneously for them.
• Software package should handle billing with details for every

customer.

• It should keep details of member coming for enquiry all the type

of milk.

• It should maintain all product details

• It should maintain details of every supplier.

• It should keep track of amount paid by every supplier.

• It should search on record on different occasions.

Milk Dairy Management System 6

Existing System

• The new system required less time for completion of work.

• New system saving time and manpower.

• New system should work smoothly and very fast

• The system is user friendly and anyone having computer

knowledge can handle it easily

Fact Finding Tools

In the system development following technology are used:

• After deciding the subject, we must be permitted for designing of
that system by in charge of that organization.
• With the plus point, we should be taking the draw backs in account.
• We should convert all requirements of the organization. For this it
is necessary for us to collect the detail information by interviewing
with the fellow.
• The most important part of system design is to consider the various
files related to and suggestion from file.
• Prepare the necessary document and format in clean formatted.
• When we completed our program writing we should test the
program test as data, debug the data is necessary.

• Integration of whole system was done who achieve the coordination.

• If we get satisfactory output of all above study and only then prepare
final coding and create required output report.

Feasibility Study

Technical Feasibility: -
Technical Requirement of the system are as specified in
software Requirement. As the hardware and software required to
operate or develop the system are easily available and no
special Hardware is required system is Technical Feasible.

Operational Feasibility: -
The Application is User – Friendly. Hence any person can
operate the system with ease as no special training required.

Economic Feasibility: -
It is measure of the cost effectiveness of the system. At
present one person can operate the system. The System is easy
to used and maintain, so Training and maintenance cost is
reduced. So, System is Economically Feasible.

Hardware and Software Requirement
A major element in building system is selecting suitable hardware
and software. Hardware and Software requirement are such needs to
which importance was attached in early days.

Software is an application which successfully runs by supporting of

hardware, so there is requirement of hardware and software

Hardware Requirement: -

1) Processor P-II or Above

2) RAM 500 MB or Above
3) Hard Disk 10 GB or Above

Software Requirement: -

1) Operating System: - Windows 7 or above.

2) Front End: - Visual studio 2019
3) Back End (Database): - Microsoft Access.

Feature of Vb.Net

• Powerful windows-based Application -: Visual Basic

.NET comes with features such that a powerful new forms designer,
an in-place menu editor and automatic control anchoring and
docking. Because of Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

• Simplified Deployment -: With Visual Basic .NET we can

build applications more and deploy and maintain them with
efficiency.

• Powerful, Flexible, simplified data access-: You can

tackle any data access scenario easily with ADO.NET And ADO
data access using ADO.NET Visual Basic.NET can gain high speed
access to MS SQL Server oracle, DB2, Microsoft Access and more.

• Direct access to the platform -: Developers can easily

program system services including the event log, performance
counters and file system.

• Full Object-oriented constructs -: You can create

reusable, enterprise-class code using full object-oriented constructs
like inheritance, encapsulation and ppolymorphism.

• Reuse Existing Investments -: You can reuse all existing

ActiveX controls. Windows form in Visual Basic.NET 2003
Provide a robust container for existing ActiveX controls.
