Explain 5 areas where computer contributed to the growth of
agriculture and agribusiness?
Computers are used for record-keeping of information related to costs
involved in production, transport, agricultural processes. The computers are
also uses the estimation and calculation of profit or loss. The Internet aids
communication among farmers and between farmers and agriculture experts.
The production capacity in farming and animal husbandry has increase due
to use of computer in agriculture field. The Agricultural Economics profession
has been using computer technology in their research, extension, and teaching
program.
