GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT GR No. Nivruve -2012/C.R. 119/2012/FFC-1 Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Madam Kama Marg Mantralaya, Mumbai 400 032 3° September 2014 Read 1) GR NO:- GR GAD No. Misc 2010/C.R. 9/10/ FFC-1 dated 7/12/2010- Preamble As per the GR dated 7/12/2010, the State Government is paying Rs 8000/-pension per month to the freedom fightersitheir spouse at present. Considering demands made by various freedom fighter’s associations/unions and people's representatives, the matter of increasing the pension payable to the freedom fighters/their spouse was under consideration of the Government. Accordingly, the government has taken following decision. Government Resolution:- The government is granting its approval to the increase the pension of Rs 8000/- per month being paid presently to the freedom fighters /their spouses by Rs 2000/-per month and they shall be paid Rs 10,000/- per month. This increase will be effective from 20/2014 2 The expenditure involved for this purpose should be arranged from funds approved under following account heads :-demand No A-5, 2235- Social Security and welfare, 60 other social security and welfare programmes, 102 pension under social security schemes, (00)(01) pension to freedom fighters and their dependents, voted(2235 0015). 3.
