Sub: Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for Empanelment of Workshops for

Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Works for Mumbai Region (Excluding
Hazira Plant).

Dear Sir,

Project IMPETUS invites bids (under Open Indigenous e-tender) for Empanelment of Workshops
for Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation Works for Mumbai Region (Excluding Hazira)
through the e-procurement site https://etender.ongc.co.in.

The details of the tender are mentioned below:

As per the Scope of Work at Annexure–III of the Tender

Document.

3 Type of Tender Open Indigenous e-tender (Single bid)

4 Category of Bidder is permitted to quote for one or more than one sub group
bidders under Category-I and/or Category-II.

Evaluation shall be done Sub-Group wise.

Category-I: Bidders scoring 70% and above marks shall be

considered for Empanelment for Category-I (Job value more than
Rs 1.00 lakh but less than Rs 25.00 Lakhs each)

Category-II: Bidders scoring ≥ 50% but less than 70% shall be

considered for Category- II (Job values upto Rs 1.00 Lakh each)
in the respective Sub-Groups.

Bidder scoring less than 50% of total marks for each subgroup
shall not be considered for empanelment for that sub group.

5 Contract period Three Years from the date of Notification of Empanelment (NOE)

6 Scope of Work As per Annexure-III of Tender Document.

7 Tender fee Nil.

Security
Security Deposit/Performance Security shall require to be
submitted by the successful empanelled workshop, to whom the
work shall be awarded by concerned work centre of ONGC
 against the limited tender enquiry. Details of Security
Deposit/Performance Security amount and validity shall be
indicated in the Work Order Enquiries only - Refer Special
Conditions of the Contract at Annexure-III (Clause no. 17.0).

Authorities

The bidders should go through the annexures attached with the tender document carefully
before submitting their bid. The bid should be completed in all respects. Bid Evaluation Criteria
at Annexure-IV shall form the basis for evaluation of offers. Necessary letter of authorization to
sign the bid should be submitted along with the tender.

All the bidders have access to online help document which is available on login. This help
document should be used for participating in e-procurement tenders.

Clarifications/amendments to tender conditions, if any, will be uploaded in ‘Amendment Folder’

on e-portal. Bidder should take note of the Clarifications/amendments, if any, before submitting
the bid.

The empanelment of a Workshop/Contractor against this tender shall only entitle the
successful bidder to be considered for issuance of Work Order Enquiry subject to the
conditions laid down in each individual Notice Inviting Tender. It shall not confer any right on
him either to be necessarily issued the tender papers or for award of work.

Note:

1. Bidder may bid for one or more than one Sub Groups under Category I and/or Category
- II.

2. Even if bidder is quoting for more than one Group/Sub-Group, bidder should submit
only one application form as per Annexure-VI.

3. Bidder should indicate Groups, Sub Groups and Categories for which they have
submitted their bid.

Bidders are advised that ONGC expects the bidders to comply with the tender
specifications/conditions and non-conforming bids will be rejected straightway.
