Suzane Von Richthofen was the daughter of a well-constituted family. His father
Manfred was a German engineer and her mother Marisia worked as a psychiatric.
Beside Suzane, they also had a younger son named Andreas.

In summer 1999, while taking a class of jujitsu, Suzane met and fell in love with Daniel
Cravinhos. Her parents weren’t thrilled with that relationship, not because of the lack
of money of the 21-year-old boy, but because Daniel didn’t have a job and he wasn’t
interested at University, instead weed has being smoked all day by him. In 2002, a
threat was made to Suzane: her allowance was going to be cut if she didn’t break up
with him. She didn’t do it, and instead the decision of making a plan was made.

On Halloween night of the same year, Suzane drop her brother at a cyber cafe and she
went to her house. Earlier that day the alarm system had been disconnected by her,
and she let Daniel and his brother, Christian, inside of her house once she checked that
her parents are slept. The plan was simple, her parents must be murdered, and it had
to look like a robbery that went wrong. With iron bars in their hands, the Cravinhos
brothers headed to Manfred and Marisia Richthofen’s room and hit them in the head
before strangling them with wet towels. Suzane parents were being killed while she
was calmly sitting on her sofa.

After that, Andreas was picked up from the cyber café by Suzane, and they went back
to their house just to discover the family murder. The call to the police was instantly
made, Suzane and Andreas told them that someone had been in their house and
murdered their parents. But the police knew that was a lie by looking at the scene.
Their suspicions got stronger when Suzane throw a party for her birthday a couple
days after the incident.

The police decided that an interrogation must be done to Suzane, she confessed the
murder of her parents. Four years after the crime, Suzane, Daniel and Christian were
put on trial for first degree murder. Suzane put the blame on the brothers, acting like a
victim who was brainwashed by the love she felt for Daniel. She ended up getting 40
years in prison, and each Cravinhos got 38 years. Also Andreas sued her sister for half
of the inheritance she was going to get from their dead parents, thankfully he won.
Suzane is now in custody in a women’s prison outside São Paulo and will be there until
2044.
