FIVE NETIQUETTES THAT SHOULD BE PRACTICED/OBSERVED IN CLASS:

1. Be respectful.
- It is the most important rule in every class settings. Being respectful to everyone. It
means that we shall have our own boundaries towards each other. Formality is still a
must even though we are in online distance learning.

2. Be aware of strong language, all caps, and exclamation points.

- A simple exclamation mark on every sentence can mean different or either bring
different message to the reader. It can lead to miscommunication.

3. Make sure identification is clear in all communications.

- In order for the teacher and the class to identify each other, a proper name should
be used. For example, zoom meetings.

4. Respect others’ privacy.

- We should not share each others privacy outside the class. Few private aspects are
exposed via online learning, one good example is the email addresses that are
sometimes exposed during ODL.

5. Follow the rules.

- Rules are made for every entity or organization to function well. We should still be
obliged to follow the university rules, even outside the school premises.

EXPECTATIONS ON THE CLASS:

1. I expect to learn new and familiar vocabularies, theories, and principles.
2. To have a better understanding on strategic management and its difference
from operations management.

EXPECTATIONS ON THE TEACHER:

1. To be attentive on every student’s concerns.
2. To provide well-organized learning materials.

EXPECTATIONS ON MY SELF:
1. I expect to work harder and efficient than the past semester.
2. A better time management this time around. No more procrastination.
