Over the last few decades, the exploitation and the destruction of our ecosystem have gone up
at an unprecedented pace. As our acts have been not in favor of pr otecting this world, we have
seen natural disasters hitting us more frequently in the form of destructive flash floods,
earthquakes, and tsunamis. Educating people about how their small acts can play a significant
role in saving this planet. Numerous environmental organizations around the world play their part
in helping in conserving the environment. You can see that there are a variety of problems that
come to our notice when you look at the world around us, and one of these is non -biodegradable
plastics.

Emaya Productions is a newly established manufacturing company that produces edible utensils
made from wheat flour and pandan leaves. The products address one of the major environmental
issues not just in the Philippines, but also worldwide - non-biodegradable plastics. According to
National Geographic, out of the 8.3 billion metric tons of plastic produced, 6.3 billion metric tons
of these end up in landfills or oceans. Plastics take more than 400 years to decompose, and most
of them still exist in some forms. Our company’s focus is to make utensils from biodegradable
and edible materials to lessen these problems and help improve the current situation of the planet.
To cater to a huge number of people, our goal is to produce cheap but high -quality products
incomparable to plastics.

Currently, the company has already four (4) confident food-related business partners and we
would love to join your company in this business venture. Based on the survey our company
conducted, most business owners suggest the price to be between Php 1.00 to 5.00 per pair of
utensils.
