A sport that you like to do and is a little bit expensive (New)

  You should say:

  What it is

  How much it usually costs

Who do you usually do it with

And explain why you like to do this activity

India is not known for liking of expensive sports because most of our sports
activities are team sports or the sports which is has minimum use of equipment.
When it comes to me, I am not fond of expensive sports like golf or formula one
racing as there are no proper facilities in these parts of the world. I like to do
shooting, though once a while to be precise once every 2 months.

Shooting is one of the expensive sports, and one needs to have lots of savings to
pursue this type of sport. There are various types of shooting that is ski-shooting,
rifle aim-shooting as well as field shooting too. Shooting is also known as “Rich
men’s sports” in many clubs and camps in my country.

Shooting charges are on per hour basis, usually it is Rs.1000 per hour with
personal licensed rifle or pistol. In-house gun usage cost extra Rs.500 on per
hour basis. Along with a set of 10 bullets will cost Rs.50 each. Every time one has
to go through an eye - test before pursing it which is around Rs.150. Hence, the
grand total of one hour of shooting comes around Rs.2150. Which, is bloody
expensive considering its peers.

I like to do this with my maternal uncle as he is fond of shooting a lot. He is a

retired army general and give me good shooting tips and he also pays for my
extra bullets.

I like this activity as it is very different from other sports. Having guns in my hand
makes feel like a Bollywood actor and also it improves my vision and boost my
concentration. I feel stronger when there is a gun in my hand and shooting the
target does feel good.
