FLIGHT OPERATIONS REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL AVIATION Volume I

CHAPTER 1.2

APPLICABILITY

The Requirements contained in FOR General Aviation, shall be applicable to general

aviation operations with aeroplanes as described in Volume I, Section 2 and Section 3.

Note 1.— Requirements applicable to the operation of aeroplanes by operators

authorized to conduct international commercial air transport operations are to be
found in Flight Operations Requirements (A).

Note 2.— Requirements applicable to international commercial air transport operations

helicopters are to be found in Flight Operations Requirements (H).

Note 3.— Section 2 of Flight Operations Requirements – General Aviation Volume I,

applies to all international general aviation aeroplane operations, including those
covered in Section 3. Section 3 adds additional requirements for large
aeroplanes, turbojet aeroplanes and corporate aviation operations.

Note 4 – Requirements applicable to the operations of helicopters for General Aviation

purposes are issued under Volume II of this Flight Operations Requirements –
General Aviation.

Note 5 - Appendices comprising material grouped separately for convenience but

forming part of these Requirements.

Note 6 - Notes included in the text, where appropriate, to give factual information or
references bearing on these Requirements, but not constituting part of these
Requirements.

Note 7 - Attachments comprising material supplementary to these Requirements, or

included as a guide to their application.
