With reference to the above subject, the O & M of 3MW solar plant, Itnal for the period of
five months i.e., from 01.02.2020 to 30.06.2020 has been carried out successfully as per
Extension W.O cited under ref (1) & (2).
As per the contract agreement clause No. 2.07.00 of section II the generation target fixed for

2 Extension period was 0.5413 MU. Due to frequent grid failures and inverter forced outages
the generation losses are 10719 KWh and 161402 KWh respectively (Annexure- I, II, III are
enclosed) and also due to monsoon season and cloudy climatic condition, solar radiation was
less which affected the generation at solar plant.
Further, it is bring to your notice that, due to frequent grid failures and 4Nos. Inverters are
under shut down condition for not supply of spares from KPCL the target generation cannot be
achieved.
Hence, it is unable to reach the target generation of 0.5413 MU as per the contract agreement.
However, we have generated 322693 KWh during the period from 01.06.2020 to 30.06.2020.
In view of the above, it is requested you to kindly do not deduct penalties for 19420 KWh of
short fall of generation from the 1st and final RA bill of 2nd Extension period.
