Deleting the broken registry zone worked for me.

Look for this on the article -> "There should only be zones 0-4 listed here so if
this
"broken character" subkey exists, try deleting it."

That's all I did to fix it, Now the ACTIVATION SCREEN is visible and you can finish
the
process.
