Which one is better: Private or Group Classes?

When you’re taking an online live lesson, you have the chance to select private or group courses. Both
private and group classes are great and they have their own disadvantages and advantages.

Group Classes Advantages:

Interaction with other students

In a group class, you will be joining other students. Learning with other students online means that you
will communicate with other people from different countries / city with different professions (doctors,
lawyers, students, teachers, etc.). You might get the chance to know that person better, share
experiences and feel comfortable as the group dynamic will grow. Online group classes are very similar
to live classes.

More effective (students help each other)

There are times when the teacher will give a student a role to help another student to explain
something or give an example. This makes the learning process even better as students feel more
encouraged.

During the Doing activities with your group (role-play, debates, giving opinions, etc.)

Disadvantages

Not covering the entire lesson because there’s not enough time

Not enough student talk time

Frustration if students are facing network problems

Private class

The teacher is dedicated to only you

You could have a customized lesson

You have more time to talk

You have a better chance to finish the entire exercise and lesson
