What it takes for a person to be successful

Others say a person have to be smart; must work his or her fingers to the bone; and even
a bit of being lucky to become a person of success. I truly believed that is what it takes to be
successful because it is what I first saw and admired in people who succeeded. However, as I
grow older and continuously watching and reading other people’s success story, I notice
something different. Under all the pretext of being intelligent, hard worker and resourceful,
though they might not say it straight but their whole demeanor exuded ambitiousness.

That is when I know that being ambitious is what drive them to think of countless
possibilities to create something new and revolutionize almost everything. It is due to their
ambition that they are ready to take high risk and make sacrifices to achieve their dreams. It
pushes them to work harder than anyone else. Their ambitiousness makes them insatiable for
more improvements in their life and career that might lead them for more accomplishments in
the future.

In life, people all have unique character traits and a myriad of paths are presented ahead
of them. However, in all character traits, being ambitious is I think one of the most powerful
character trait one must have because people who have that trait will not just settle for anything
less. They will certainly find a path where they can find success. They will thrive to be
successful no matter what happens.
