Question 02013:
PV Panel converts the sun rays into electricity by exciting electrons in silicon cells using the photons of
light from sun.
Each solar panel consists of solar cell. A solar cell is mainly made of silicon. When photon lands on the
solar cell, they break loose the electrons from their atoms. Conductors are attached to the positive and
negative sides of cell to form an electric circuit.when electron flows electricity is produced.
Question 02014:
Because it is cheaper to generate and easy to transmit over very long distances.
Question 02015:
It converts DC supply to AC supply. It also provides generation data and all vital statistics about solar
power plant.
Question 02016:
Sunlight hits the solarpanel and we get DC.The solar panel transmits DC Electricity through its
junctionbox attached below the panel. All panels are connected to make various strings. All strings are
connected to inverter. Inverter converts DC to AC. AC is supplied to load. In between meter is present
for measurement.
Question 02017:
What happens if solar power generated is less than the solar power consumed?
Additional amount of power needed for consumption will be taken from grid.First it will be consumed
from solar then from grid. It is done by a controller
Question 02018:
What happens if solar power generated is more than the solar power consumed?
The additional power generated will be sent to the grid. How much sent will be calculated by net meter.
Question 02019:
Question 0220:
Solar-Powered photo voltaic panels convert the sun’s rays into electricity by exciting electrons in silicon
cells using the photons of light from the sun. The electricity can then be used to supply renewable
energy for consumption
