Nanotechnology is indeed a powerful manifestation of this modern generation. From invention

of electronics up to removing of radioactive materials, it is truly fascinating how the knowledge of
man had already come this far. Although nanotechnology has a lot of its benefits especially in
protecting the environment as well as an efficient solution to these devastating pollutions created by
man, I still believe that utilization of this technology also comes with great cost. Since the materials
used in this are atomic and molecular in nature, it is expected that this can cause various
disadvantages as well.

Nanoparticle which plays an important role in nanotechnology can be paralleled to the

biological molecules. This just means that even though this technology can help our physical
environment to recover in an instant and also used as an effective medication at some point, it will
also cause grave danger to living systems such as us humans. According to the study of Korani, et.
al., (2015), silver nanoparticles (one of the most frequently used nanoparticle) which are widely used
as antimicrobial medium especially in hygienic products also has its adverse effects such as toxicity
in nervous, immune, fetus development, etc. ones it was not carefully undergone guidelines and
regulations. It has a potential risk to human health once absorbed or exposed to a great amount which
may possibly lead to a more intractable dilemma.

Another potential risk is that this may eventually be a way for people to commence havoc due
to the advancement of this technology. It is much easier for atomic weapons to accessed and can
further be made to be more powerful and destructive.

Though this technological revolution seems to have promising advantages, let us still be
aware of its adversities and always consider the possibilities that it can affect a certain category.
Embracing this modern technology is not entirely a dreadful thing but we should also be aware of its
probable consequences in the near future.
