PROJECTS:
Project: Railway Electronic Interlocking System (EIS)
Description:
Rail’s Electronic Interlocking System developed to Indian Railways RDSO specification
192/2005 and designed to provide the operator with total control over the yard for ensuring safe
movement of trains, it is a distributed system with the Central Interlocking Unit connecting to
the yard elements through Object Controllers. Both the Central Interlock Unit and Object
Controllers have triple modular redundancy for ensuring better Reliability & Availability.

Role: Software testing and Functionality testing.

Technologies: C, FTP, TCP, GPRS, Ethernet, UART, I2C
Client: Indian Railways

Project: Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS )

Description: TCAS is an Indigenous Automatic Train Protection System, developed by RDSO ,
through three vendors. This system alerts the Loco Pilot of approaching signal aspects or PSRs and
requires him to acknowledge the warning in case of over speeding. Otherwise, the system would initiate
braking, after a predefined short delay.
The system is developed and approved for 110 Kmph in Absolute Block section. It is also successfully
tested for 160Kmph and trails in Automatic Section are under progress. The Main theme of the project
is to prevent SPAD (Signal Passing At Danger) by continuous update of Movement Authority.
Responsibilities:

 Generating System Level Test cases and Demonstrating Functionality Test cases to
RDSO Inspectors, Lucknow and get the approval for Electronic interlocking
system & Train collision Avoidance system (TCAS)

 Perform unit testing on IBM RTRT tool (Rational test real time). 

 Perform ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) with RDSO Inspectors, Bangalore and get Signed for
34Stations and Locos (SCR-TCAS Tender)

 Preparation of Application Data (Configuration files) for EIS and TCAS

 Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of 34 Stations and Locos (SCR-TCAS
Tender) with SCR Officials and get signed to Deploy Application Data in field.

 Hardware Troubleshooting the Modules (PP Input, PP output, CIU Processors, OC Input) of
EIS system.

 Hardware Troubleshooting the Modules (PPC, VC, Voter, IDL, FSC, GSM, RPS,
Communication card, SMOCIP, DMI) of TCAS system.

 Planning Test Schedule and Environment for EIS & TCAS system.

 Preparing test cases for Unit testing.

Project: RO GSM Control Panels.

Description:
To automate the water purification process, collect the regularized data from the RO water plant
and store in the server for better analysis. We can also control and monitor the water plant
remotely.
RO Control panel can collect the data of
i) Raw water LPH, ii) Product Water LPH, iii) LPS trips, iv) HPS trips, v) TDS, vi) HV & LV
protection, trips. vii) Over load trip, viii) RO Membrane pressures (Inlet & Outlet).

Description:
This water vending machine dispenses water and the Device performance can be remotely
monitored in a centralized office through Web portal. It is Multi-Functional Water Controller
with Card & Coin. Which is SMPS Operated, Flow Based GSM Water Controller (ATM). With
Battery Backup. Operate with Two, three & four Taps at a Time. Adjustable Water Dispensing
Volume & Price. It is user friendly and ease of traceable dispensing data. Four Types of
Dispensing Modes.

Project: Interfacing and Working on Sensors and IoT protocols

Description:
Interfacing and Working on Sensors / Modules with Arduino, Node MCU (i.e., Ultrasonic,
Temperature, Smoke, Buzzers, PIR, Piezoelectric sensor, Wi-Fi ESP8266, Bluetooth HC05,
GSM etc., And also on Communication protocols (I2C, SPI and UART).
Achievements:

• Won 3rd Prize in “Electrical Technical” competition at CRRE.
