INSTRUCTION FOR USE


The Pulling Component must always be the same diameter or less than the diameter of the
component being pulled – refer to Fig 2.

A ‘Large Diameter’ component must never be used to pull a ‘Smaller Diameter’ component under
Tension over the Bullwheel of a Puller or a Tensioner – refer to Fig 1.

The reason for this is that the difference between the two diameters generates an increased
stress at the joining of the two components - which will most likely result in a catastrophic failure
of the smaller diameter component.

The above criteria must still be implemented in all cases even if the difference in diameter of the
two components is minimal – refer to the example below.
