NARRATIVE REPORT
On my 1st week of internship some adjustment does exist. It was hard for me to
talk in front of pupils, I am thinking what they are thinking about me especially on my
appearance, what are they expression about my skills and knowledge.
2nd week of my internship nervous yesterday are not the same today its better now
than yesterday for the help of my Critic Teacher who will advise us, with my partner as a
practice teacher what we could be experienced when we are teacher already and what we
could do when we face the struggle with our students especially in their behavior.
3rd week of my internship some pupils are talking with us, they are asking about
the topic when they not meet the concept or objective of the topic. And were explained
well what it is to meet what confusing they had. So that we feel comfortable with our
student.
4th week of internship were trying to stand in front of pupils to give some
activities when our critic teacher are not be able to attend her classes. We are observing
what did behavior they had and were trying to manage their difficulty.
5th week of my internship were still observing in the classroom management.
What could we do when circumstances were facing. How we handle the hardest situation
due the new behavior in this generation.
6th week of my internship this is the week of their exam before the holidays. We
are watching out for potential cheat on their exam.
7th week of my internship were assigning who will be our critic teacher for
practice teaching without partnership. I am assigned to Sir Arnold who’s Math Teacher
and Ma’am Thea who’s Empowerment in Technologies teacher. Their give schedule in
teaching classes which are section, room number and grade. They accompanied us and
introduced us to our students.
8th week of my internship my critic teacher in MATH subject gave me an
assignment what were will be topic tomorrow and he explained me well how it does,
what are they mean and how will be flow the discussion. For the first section my critic
teacher will present and discuss the topic while the next and last section is my turn to
teach.
9th week of my internship I will be the one who only to present the topic due to
the absence of my critic teacher. It so hard to me to understand alone first what are the
content of the topic. It’s hard to think what will be result of my teaching without mentor.
10th week of my internship being a computer literate and technologies lover are
the most keys to take through all the topic struggle how to explained well them how it be
done how it does exist. For me technologies are the best ways to take more time of
working to the use of it. And I am excited to share my knowledge but not to explain it
without the equipment. It so hard to explain the mechanics’ inside without an actual
discussion.
11th week of my internship my critic teacher are not that time without informing
what will be the topic on that day. So I decided to think an activity to give them. So I was
confusing how student will earned and gain knowledge if these situation are facing..
Quality of education are not meet.
12th week of my internship more actual activities are pressure to the student and
also with me. 50 to 60 student versus 1 mentor to give her knowledge about this lesson.
For the whole hour is so difficult. But the end of the day, teacher will recovered with the
finishes activities of her pupils.. it is pleasure to see her student, her Patience in teaching
is a good result.
13th week of my internship it is the last week of practice teaching, this is the last
chance of my pupils to recover their failed subject. This is a great opportunity to see your
students learn how to study.
CHAPTER III

Learning Experience

Teaching is not joke, standing and walking all day and carrying teaching materials are
very heavy burden. But when it comes to me, it's very hard but if it's your love you will
not notice the day's so fast. When I was first in front of the students scary especially if
your students are smart.

Teaching without equipment for actual is extremely difficult. You will teach
unexpectedly your unobtrusive lesson for that day seems to be in a war with no weapons.
Job Description

There's nothing better than doing something worthwhile, and making money to boot!
Everyone you know older than five has been influenced by a teacher. Teachers prepare
and educate students for the world. Starting with teaching the basics of math, reading and
skills in preschool and elementary school, and move to more complex and specialized
concepts in middle, high school and post-secondary school.

Teachers create lesson plans and teach those plans to the entire class, individually to
students or in small groups, track student progress and present the information to parents,
create tests, create and reinforce classroom rules, work with school administration
prepare students for standardized tests, and manage students outside the classroom, such
as in school hallways, detention, etc.

Other types of teachers include special education teachers, who work with students with a
range of disabilities, adult literacy and GED teachers, working with adults and young
adults who are no longer in school, and post-secondary teachers in colleges, universities
and vocational schools
CHAPTER IV

Conclusion

As my first day of my internship it was hard for me and some adjustments are
existing. But when days go by my works become easy for me because I know how to do
it easily and well appreciated.
Recommendation

On-the-job Training is indeed vital and necessary because the program expanded the
students ‘knowledge as it helps the student to explore their skills in the actual work area.
OJT is launching step to student knowledge in actual work experience. Moreover, OJT
serve as a source of manpower for enterprise by having the privilege of hiring students
that are fresh-minded and not yet expecting high salaries. OJT serve best by exposing the
student’s potential employers and possibility of being hired depending on the needs of the
company.

With this observation, I stand for OJT to be a compulsory requirement for graduating
student of every field of endeavor from different colleges and universities.
