THE HEART OF WORSHIP IS SURRENDER.

It is uncommon for today’s competitive culture the idea of giving up, because we were always taught to
abhor the idea of SURRENDER. Many of us consider it as a sign of weakness. Admit it but we always
want to talk about succeeding and overcoming rather than yielding and obeying. If winning is
everything, then surrendering is unthinkable. But surrendering to God is the heart of worship.

Romans 12:1 says, “So then, my friends, because of God’s great mercy to us, offer yourselves as a living
sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should
offer.”

May we all desire to offer ourselves to God as this is what true worship is all about. We are praying that
today you continue to commit your life to Him. Consecration, making Jesus your Lord, taking up your
cross, dying to self and yielding to the Spirit every single day, can become meaningful and worthwhile
experience if we have surrendered our all to Him. Ninety-five percent of you is not enough. God wants
your life – all of it.
