Gandhi’s success brought about great social change also called ‘’khadi

campaign’’, which encouraged Indians to boycott British goods. Gandhi

first lived in South Africa for a long time in high status, but when they

finally returned to India, they changed their style of dressing. Local

people changed their suits into homespun clothes. Due to the Indians

wanted to spin cotton into yarn, and to get rid of British rule. Later, in

order to corner the market, they constantly self-reliance. Their clothing is

a symbol of the national spirit in the real sense, and finally they all

choose the traditional clothing of their own nation.
