Small intestine

The small intestine is part of the gastro-intestinal tract in the form of a coiled tube that
starts at the outlet of the stomach and ends at the beginning of the large intestine and is
.about 6 meters in length

Digestion in the small intestine is done by some digestive juices, such as (intestinal-
pancreatic-bile), where digestion is carried out here completely. Fat is digested and
.utilized with the help of bile (secreted from the liver)
.

The average length of the small intestine in adult males is 6.9 meters, and 7.1 meters in
adult women. The length may vary greatly between humans, it may range from a length
of 4.6 meters to a length of 9.8 meters [2] [3]. Recent studies have indicated that the
small intestine may be shorter, reaching about 3.5 meters, and that the length of the
.intestine is less affected by age after childhood than expected [4]

The small intestine is longer than the large intestine, but it has acquired an "accurate"
trait due to its relatively accurate diameter of 2.5 to 3 cm, and the surface area of the
.suture of the human small intestine is 30 square meters [5]

:The small intestine is divided into three structural parts

The duodenum (also called duodenum) is the shortest part (about 25-20 cm long) and is
a continuation of the stomach and is shaped like the letter C, [6] and surrounds the head
of the pancreas. The duodenum receives chyme (semi-liquid substance) from the
stomach, along with digestive juices from the pancreas (digestive enzymes) and liver
(bile). Digestive enzymes break down proteins and bile and emulsify fats. The
duodenum contains Brunner's glands, which produce mucus-rich alkaline secretions
that contain bicarbonate. These secretions, in addition to the bicarbonate secreted from

the pancreas, are equivalent to the acidity of the stomach acids present in the chyme
.coming from the stomach

The fasting is the midsection of the small intestine, where it connects the duodenum to
the ileum. It is about 2.5 meters long, and contains circular creases of Kerkering and
intestinal villus that increase its surface area. In this section of the digestive system,
digestive products (sugars, amino acids, and fatty acids) are absorbed into the
bloodstream. The location of the suspended muscle of the duoden indicates the region
that differentiates the duodenum

While the length of the small intestine is only 5, 4 and 7 meters, its internal area is
between 250 to 400 square meters and is one of the largest organs in the body. And it is
almost the only organ next to the heart, which is not affected by cancer
