I am writing at the recommendation of Madelyn Martinec who suggested I contact you regarding
my internship search. I graduate in the spring of 2021 with my bachelor’s degree in
communication studies and a concentration in public relations. I learned from Madelyn that the
food bank is looking for interns seeking experience in the non-profit industry.

My goal is to someday direct fundraising and event planning efforts for a non-profit
organization. I have a year of internship experience in various communication positions
throughout the community. I have almost five years of experience with the South Bend Center
for the Homeless where I learned about the various components of a non-profit organization. I
