Sand Filter Instruction

Please BackWash the sand filter every hour to ensure that there is enough
water flow to the Gland Seal water tank.

1. Make sure that the filter inlet water valve (red valve) is open and water is
flowing into the filter
2. Change the position of the filter operation valve (black valve) to Back Wash
position
3. Allow the filter to back wash until the water is clear (back wash for atleast 3
minutes)
4. Change the position of the filter operation valve (black valve) to Rinse
position (Rinse for atleast 2 minutes)
5. Change the position of the filter operation valve (black valve) back to Filter
6. Make sure that there is enough water flowing through to the Gland Seal
water tank

Stay clear when the filter is in BackWash and Rinse mode, to prevent getting wet
