Each section of rl isan individual weighbridge fora single wheel. The system provide total rake weight plus weight readings fr individual wagons. RailWeigh is designed forall types of wagons and can be installed in any loca: tion that has straight and level track for one wagon length. The RailWeigh sec- tions ae bolted onto existing track and tes, minimizing installation time and disruption of al trafic. The standard RailWeigh uilzes S2kg/m or 60kg/m, however custom rail sizes ae also available. Rakes not being weighed can 'move across the scale at normal speed without affecting the weighbridge. How itworks RailWeigh utilizes proven strain gauge technology to accurately determine individual weights fr each whee ofthe wagon, and an accurate total weight for the rake. Wagons canbe positioned on the weighbridge in a numberof ways: track mobile, tug motors, locomotives, or other convenient means. ‘Wagons can he positioned and weighed inas litle a a couple of minutes. ‘Once the wagon isin position, the Rice Lake 920i /DA 100 indicator displays the weight ofthe wagon—it is as simple as that!
