St. Patrick’s School will be conducting a common Graded Assessment (GA) for our students
from the Secondary 3Ex level. The GA will be conducted from 11 August – 19 August 2021.
Please note that the dates are subject to change. A copy of the Graded Assessment Timetable
is attached.
The GA is conducted so that both the teachers and the students are aware of the progress made
in mastering knowledge and / or skills in the first seven weeks of Term 3. This would allow
the teachers to customise the learning from Term 4 to address the gap in learning, if any. For
your information, the GA is conducted at a common time to allow fairness in the assessment of
our students.
Please note that the weighting for the GA is 15%. If your child / ward is absent for a paper, he
must produce a medical certificate for the day of absence. Please note also that there will be
no re-test for the GA.
Please feel free to approach the school if you need to seek further clarification on this matter.
Thank you.
