The matter has been taken up through

video-conferencing on account of lockdown due to outbreak of

pandemic COVID-19.

At the very onset, learned counsel for the petitioner

has made a statement withdrawing the present petition,

however, reserving rights of the petitioner to file a fresh one on

the same very grounds.

Allowed to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.

CRM 12105 of 2020

The applicant/petitioner, who is is judicial custody

has moved the present miscellaneous application for grant of

interim bail on the grounds that his mother is blind and his father

is suffering from medical ailments and needs interim bail to look

after his parents.

Mr. Baljinder Virk, DAG, Haryana puts in

appearance on behalf of the State on his own and does not

oppose the grant of interim bail.

Keeping in view the stand of the learned counsel for

the applicant/petitioner and in the light of averments made in the

petition, that applicant is the only son of his parents, out of

whom, mother is blind and father is suffering from medical

complications due to advanced age and further keeping in view

the prevalent situation arising out of COVID-19 and miseries

arising out of lockdown, taking a lenient view, this Court deems

it appropriate to grant interim bail for a period of one month on

his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.2,00,000/- with two

sureties in the like amount each to the satisfaction of concerned

CJM/Duty Magistrate/Ilaqua Magistrate with an undertaking that

during the period he is out on interim bail, he shall not influence

the witnesses, intimidate them in any manner and shall not

commit any other crime.

After the expiry of the stipulated period, he shall

surrender before the concerned jail authorities from the date of

his actual release.

The application is accordingly, disposed off.
