I. Introduction
When the researchers gathered some information online, we learned that during
boarding time, some passengers are excited or somewhat aggressive to get inside the
aircraft first. And some passengers are not able to reach the gate in time because of their
lack of awareness in time and presence of mind. That’s why the researchers took this
opportunity to create AirBuzz which will help not only the gate agents to accommodate
passengers but also to give the passengers a better view to their time because they will be
able to determine the exact time of their boarding period. This will boost the passenger
satisfaction levels.
The product AirBuzz! is a paging device that reminds airline passengers of their
respective time of boarding. Airline companies have received complaints of missed flights
from passengers due to paging system loopholes. Most airline companies hold vocal
noise. Visual announcements in monitors tend to run quickly and heavily requires the
used for different purposes and is continuously being sold in market. This group aims to
incorporate this idea into local airline companies for passenger utilization.

This device functions like a restaurant or cafe pager that vibrates or shows a message
when a product or an order is ready to be picked up from the cashier counter. AirBuzz!
receives a signal from the Airline Gate Agents to imply that it is time for boarding. This signal
is received by the microcontroller installed inside the device that would govern the operation

C. Required Resources
Making this product is costly, that is why the main resource that the group needs is
money, Airbuzz! has a lot of components and each component is pricey. In making this
product, there will be tests that has to be done before making the final product, this means
additional expenses because to make one Airbuzz! The group needs to spend
approximately around 3200 pesos which will be created for testing first. If it is successful, we
will need a budget of around P500,000 approximately for a standard A320 flight which
usually seats 140-170 minimum passengers and has a maximum capacity of 180
passengers.
In addition to that, the group also needs money for transportation and maintenance
purposes. Each of the components needed to make the product is only available at
electronic shops and most electronic shops are not accessible to the group thus the need
of money for transportation. The group also needs to assume for the worse and that is
there will be mistakes done while making the product, that is why the group needs money

The ideal and best location for the Airbuzz! is at the airport, most specifically at the
pre-departure area, where the passengers wait before they board the airplane. The product
Airbuzz! can and will only be used at pre-departure areas of airport and nowhere else. The
sole purpose of Airbuzz! is to inform passengers that the plane they are waiting for is ready
for boarding, it reduces the hassle of having to look at the screen whether the plane they are
waiting for is ready to board and most importantly, it makes their lives easier. The group
wants what is best for the customers, which are the passenger that is why they came up with
such plan.

Strengths - Pagers are the game changer of a queue management system. These
simple beepers can help your customers from avoiding long lines at gates and make the

anywhere that internet connections reach. They create a bond between the customer and
the Airline Gate Agent, and allow passengers to stroll around the airport instead of eagerly
awaiting their line. In a short, pagers will increase customer satisfaction and the revenue of
the airport; reduce long queues in airport gates; and lastly, improves the quality of service.
