ACTIVITY:
 Write an article offering top five tips for collaboration and effective communication at the
workplace. The article should be at 200 words.

Have a work group where the members interact with an assertive communicative style in order to
express disagreements, negotiate, give ideas and reach commitments where all its participants
and collaborators benefit all the people who make up the team and at the same time achieve
positive results for the company, otherwise nothing will go well.

On the other hand, learning the discipline of teamwork implies that each one has the availability to
transform ties of competence into ties of cooperation and collaboration that intensify values such
as solidarity, companionship, reflection, availability and kindness in people. .

There are several tips that can help foster assertive communication and collaboration in the
workplace:
• Role-play to practice conflict resolution, for example:
1.Verify: "Let me repeat what you said to make sure I understand you."
2. Clarify: "I think this is what you mean...”
3. Show support: "I hear you, go on"
4. Structure: "What do you think if we see the symptoms, try to define the problem, and then
discuss possible solutions?"
• Carry out Team Building outings to build trust among the members of the work team.
• Leave the office doors open, to promote rapprochement and fluidity of communication.
• Expressly give all team members a turn to speak during work meetings to facilitate
communication and integration.
• Carry out debates on topics not related to work, in order to promote the expression of opinions,
ideas, feelings.
