GENERAL INTERCESSIONS

Presider: Jesus teaches us that we depend on the love of God and one
another. With courage and faith, let us present our needs to our
Father. We pray:
LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER

Lector: That all the baptized they may never be separated from Christ, the
true vine. We pray:
Response: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER

Lector: That the government leaders may serve with wisdom, compassion
and humility all the people in their care. We pray:

Response: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER

Lector: That all who grow crops for their livelihood especially our farmers,
may be granted by God with bountiful harvest, and safety in their
work, and through the example of St. Isidore may grow in their faith.
We pray:

Response: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER

Lector: That as one parish community under the patronage of St. Isidore the
Laborer, may we bear witness with confidence to the Gospel. We
pray:

Lector: That the sick and those afflicted with COVID-19: may Christ ease
their pain and heal their illness. We pray:

Response: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER

Lector: That all those whose pilgrimage on earth is over may live forever
with the Lord in the glory of the resurrection. We pray:
Response: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER
Presider: Heavenly Father,
the vine grower,
we ask that your Spirit may work in and through us,
and grant that we may not be separated from you
so that we may bear much fruit for your kingdom.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
