    MITIGATION MEASURE TO INTRODUCTION OF PODS (AUTONOMOUS


    VEHICLE): CASE STUDY OF NEW DELHI
    This paper shall analyse the impact of pods (autonomous vehicle) on drivers in the employment
    sector. This paper shall explore the methods to be employed to reskill them and provide alternative
    jobs opportunities.

    The pods shall bring substantial changes to the workplace. This paper shall focus upon employment
    of private car drivers, auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers in New Delhi as a case study.

    Expected outcome of the study: Impact on jobs and need to develop additional infrastructure for re-
    skilling/training and re-employment.
