Talented Sports Players in 5th and 6th

Annabel Mulcaire-Quille in 5th Class was recently invited to the Centre of Excellence Programme for
under 13s. This is for talented young soccer players. She now trains in U.L once a week. She
continues to practice very hard and is enjoying working with this talented group of other players.
Well done Annabel!

Well done also to Danny O’Grady in 5th Class who completed the third round of the Desmond soccer
trials for the U13s on Sunday 27th June. He was one of 44 players left out of the original 124 players
in the first round. Well done Danny!

Kieran Long in 6th Class was asked to take part in soccer trials for under 13s in Kerry with his soccer
club Limerick Desmond Schoolboy/girl League in May. Those invited took part in a training session
while the organisers watched and noted their skills and their strengths. All his training is paying off!
