General Objectives

We, student nurses of Our Lady of the Pillar College, conducted this family case analysis in able to help
identify the problems that exist within a community. The family case analysis is also a way to hone our
skills in providing our health care services as we are not only dealing with a single patient but the whole
community itself. The unit of care which is known to be a family in a specified community is where we
are going to begin giving our care and performing the goals and objectives of the whole Community
Health Nursing.

Specifically, he objectives of why Family Assessment is conducted, is to:

 Identify the present problems in a family which can affect the whole community.
 provide healthcare services by identifying factors that can put their family at risk.
 advising the right action when an illness is present
 prevention of diseases by teaching them the proper ways of keeping the health of the whole
family and each individual.
 identifying factors which we view as a problem and we notify them so that they can change or
intervene it in their own.
 Conduction health education and intervention
