The activation energy, Ea which specifies the minimum amount of energy required for a reaction to
occur. This is essentially an energetic obstacle that a reactant must overcome in order to become a
commodity. In this example, the higher the activation energy, the slower the reaction. There are a few
tricks you can do to cheat and lower Ea. One common method is to use a suitable catalyst to lower the
energy barrier.

To start a car engine, for example, activation energy is required. When you turn the switch, a spark is
generated, which initiates the combustion of gasoline in the engine. The combustion of gas will not
happen until there is a spark of energy to start the reaction.

it, it will only destroy the ozone layer making it hotter. The other reason is that, unless the Philippines
makes it that the smoke that is coming out of the power plant is clean then it is a big no to me.
