Story

“It was the start of summer vacation way back 2003.. our
batch decided to go on a trip to Hagimit Falls before we
finally go to our own vacation plans :) but before going
there, we heard “stories” .. creepy stories about the
place.. well,it didn’t hinder us to go there, thus we were
eager to really see the place and maybe “know” if the
stories are true. We started our trip as early as 6am..we’re
all excited. Maybe because most of us were first timer to
ride on a “barge” :) Finally, we’re in Samal Island and
excited to ride the “habal-habal” :) we had our own food
and water.. the habal2x just dropped us along the road
and told us to just follow a “trail” going to the falls. We see
to it that no one was left behind coz as what the “story”
said, there’s a certain “engkanto” in the area. We kept
going..i think it was almost 10am when we arrived
there..there were already few people who came before us.
But there’s this certain guy who approach us and warned
us to always say “tabi tabi po” coz we might be bugging
the “engkanto” .... i told my friends to just follow what the
guy said.. we were quite “noisy” while swimming but we
kept on saying “tabi tabi po” .. we really had a great time
then despite the “creepy” stories we heard. We left the
place around 3pm and made sure we didn’t left any
garbage. The place itself is beautiful and i just hope it’s
being well manage until now. I would still like to go back
there after 17years :)
