Minutes of meeting of the faculty handling U18CE606 Construction Management

and Equipment 6 th Semester during the Academic Year 2020-21.

The meeting was held on 12.07.2021 at 11:30am. As per the circular issued by Civil
Engineering department on Dt. 11.06.2021.

The meeting was held to discuss the guidelines to be followed for ESE valuation of
Construction Management and Equipment, reports and results processing as per the
meeting held by AAC (Academic Advisory Committee) members on 06.04.2021at 3.30PM
at committee hall of KITSW.

At the outset, the Course Coordinator, welcomed the faculty member of the CME
Course to the meeting and informed the following resolutions to be made for
valuation of CME ESE.
1. Uniform valuation of the course as per the rubrics framed.
2. The maximum mean of the marks should not be greater than 65% of the observed
full marks in the valuation of ESE CME course.
3. Strictly adhere to the Bell Curve and 3 Sigma rule, i.e, the standard deviation of the
marks should be such that the range of (mean + 3σ) be less than the observed full
marks in the valuation of ESE.
4. The results will be communicated section wise to results committee and
examination branch within the stipulated time.
5. The valuators shall strictly maintain the timeline in evaluating the course.
6. Constitution of Results Committee is made as follows:
