Answer:
SONG: BACK TO YOU
BY: SELENA GOMEZ

I wanna hold you when I’m not supposed to

When I’m lying close to someone else
You’re stuck in my head and I can’t get you out of it
If I could do it all again
I know I’d go back to you.

PARAPHRASED LYRICS:

Even if the world resist, I always crave you

I’m tied up with somebody but this stupid and foolish cardiovascular of mine still
want you
You’re like the neurons in my brain, I don’t have control at all
And if destiny would allow me
It is still you, always and only you!

In this song, I used the Hyperbole figurative for it gives more emphasis and
justice to the lyrics and so with the feelings of a desperate heart. It’s a sad song
that portrays a deep desperation towards her love to the guy that even he broke
her million times in the end, she still wants that guy. She wants him to stay in her
side despite all the agony and despair she had been. Her heart screamed him.

In the third line of the stanza, you may notice that I also used a Simile that simply
shows and states the involuntary things I can’t control by comparing it to a
neuron. We can’t actually control how these neurons communicate to the
synapses to send signals. In that way, I just made an obvious comparison.
