We make slow progress. That is a beautiful flower. It can come after : A linking verb like be, get, become etc : Our progress was slow A sense verb (taste, smell, feel, look) : That food tastes/ smells / looks ‘amazing. Participle adjective: formed out of past or present participle forms of the verb: e.g: To amaze: Amazed, amazing To interest: interested, interesting Common mistakes while using Adjectives %wnacademy Adverbs ‘ing’ adjective descibes person or an object. He is an interesting person. His stories are interesting ‘ed’ adjectives describe feelings and attitudes. We are interested in him and his stories. If the adjective ends with y, change it to ‘i’ before adding ‘ly’ to it.
