Making plans

Look at the following dialogues. In each but one, there are mistakes in connection with the
expressions seen to make plans. Spot the mistakes and correct the sentences. Spot the dialogue with
no mistakes.

Dialogue number 01

A: Hey, Laura! How are you doing?

B: Hey, Martin! I’m fine. Any plans for the weekend?

A: Not really. What about you? Will you go out? Are you going out?

Dialogue number 02

A: Are you coming with us, Pete?

B: No, I’m not. I know you’d love me to. I’m sorry I can’t come. I might play am playing/am going
to play tennis with my boss after work.

A: Oh, what a pity.

Dialogue number 03

A: Urg!

B: What is it?

A: I’m not feeling very well. I think I’m staying will stay home. Call my boss, please.

Dialogue number 04

(Phone rings)

A: Is that the phone?

B: Don’t worry, darling. I’m going to get will get it.

Dialogue number 05 OK!!!

A: So, what are you doing this weekend?

B: We might go to a concert. Everything depends on John being free.


A: Oh, I see. He’s a busy guy.

Dialogue number 07

A: So, what time will you come back home? are you coming

B: No idea.

A: And how will you get home? are you getting/ are you going to get

B: Err… I’m not sure. I haven’t thought about it… I know! I might ask Dan’s dad to drive me home.
