Dipper In

For schematic, K Fig 11. ( T E-37)

Pressurised oil from pump 1 enters port P1 of control valve

A. Pressurised oil from pump 2 enters port P2 of the
control valve.

Operation of the dipper close control directs pilot pressure

oil through shuttle block and cushion valve to port PLb4 of
the control valve to switch dipper 1 spool. At the same time
pilot pressure oil, divided at the shuttle block, flows from
port C4 to port PRb5 of the control valve to switch dipper 2
spool. At the same time pilot pressure oil, divided at port
C5 of the shuttle block, enters port Pi2 of the control valve
and moves the spool to release the load holding valve,
enabling the return oil from the dipper cylinder to flow to
tank and dipper close movement to be executed.

Pressurised oil form P1 and P2 converge within the control

valve and 2-speed dipper closing is performed. Also,
return oil from the dipper cylinder is recycled to the supply
side by the dipper 1 spool recycle circuit, increasing
operating speed even more.
