operation of boom up priority spool A in the slew feed line restricts the flow to the slew motor thereby increasing the flow to the boom up line and increasing the speed of boom up.
Turning the high dump switch ON routes an electrical
signal to the controller and an electrical signal to the monitor where the message `Boom Priority' is displayed. When the boom up control is operated, pilot pressure switches the boom up pressure switch on the shuttle block to send a signal to controller and from the controller an electrical signal is sent to boom-up priority solenoid valve B. The solenoid switches and sends a pilot signal from the priority valve (port C2) to the main control valve (port Pi7) This now moves the priority spool into the restricted position. This allows more oil to be available for boom up, which will increase the boom up speed.
