The State Govt has been allocating the energy available from various sources (in terms of percentage) among ESCOMs through Govt Orders. In the Govt Order read at reference (1) above, approval was accorded to purchase power from Bagasse Based Co-Generation units, during the season only, for a period of 5 (Five) years commencing from 2016-17 at the tariff determined by KERC. - In the letter read at reference (2) above approval was accorded to enter into Power purchase agreement with the Bagasse Based Co-Generation units of sugar factories in the State with the approval of KERC. In the Govt Order read at reference (3) above and also through letter energy available for the year 2020-2] was allocated among-ESCOMs= = Sewwededn the letter read’ at reference (4) ahove. KERC requesting the Government to issue the Government Order for energy allocation of Energy available from various sources among ESCOMSs for the year 2021-22 for the Purpose of fixing uniform tariff across the ESCOMs 6. The State Govt proposed to allocate the energy available trom various sources among ESCOMs for the year 2021-22 to ensure balanced financial Viability and fairly uniform tariff for various category of consumers in different parts of the State. 7. It is proposed to allocate the energy available among ESCOMs for the year 2021-22 and hence this order. The allocation of energy among ESCOMs for the year 2021-22 is effective from 01.04.2021 and it will remain until further orders. b. Separate orders will be issued for allocation of energy among ESCOMs for future procurement. c. Where specific PPAs are singed by the ESCOMs and which are not covered in this order, the energy and the cost have to be borne by the ESCOMs as per the Se eee = _______d.
