(g) & 17.5 kg/m? (Q) ELITE THERMAL ENGINEERS PVT. LTD. Co eon er oe Kora The efficient way to lower operating costs Elite Thermal's solid fuel fired internal furnace boiler is an ideal alternative to generate steam using solid fuels like Coal, Biomass / Agrowaste Briquettes etc., which are having abundant availability instead of fossil fuels like Diesel, Light Diesel Oil, Furnace Oil, etc. The use of this boiler also enables large savings in overall operating costs with very attractive payback periods. Why you should buy “Elite Thermal” make solid fuel fired internal furnace boiler? + Tremendous savings in operating cost when the operation is compared to that of an oil fired boiler + Fully packaged boiler so very little site work required to be done + High steam dryness fraction (more than 0.98) increases usable heat + Designed & manufacturedin accordance with Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) + Liberal furnace volume for complete combustion of a variety of solid fuels + High heat transfer areas giving longer boiler life + High steam space & water space for effective response to fluctuating loads + Liberal grate area to ensure complete combustion + Multi-Cyclone separator (dust collector) is provided as a standard accessory to collect the fly ash particles & clean the outgoing flue gases + Heat recovery units (HRU) such as combustion air pre-heater & feed water pre-heater are available as optional accessories which recover maximum possible waste heat from outgoing flue gases giving superior thermal efficiency + Mechanized fuel feeding system is available as an optional accessory + Unmatched after sale services with “customer first” attitude Combustion of Solid Fuels Elite Thermal’s solid fuel fired internal furnace boiler achieves complete combustion of a variety of solid fuels by ensuring the 3Ts (Time, Temperature & Turbulence) of fuel & air. Combustion air is supplied by balanced draught system i.e. combination of induced draught & forced draught fans. The different solid fuels have different physical & chemical properties that influence the overall boiler performance. Ash content of different solid fuels & properties of ash also play an important role in the operation & maintenance of solid fuel boilers. Elite Thermal's solid fuel fired internal furnace boiler has been designed taking into consideration all these critical points ensuring the compatibility with various fuel firing options. Engineered & Designed for Safe, Smooth & Trouble-Free Operation High steam pressure cut-off with feedback to ID fan for controlling the combustion Drum water level indicator & controller Fusible plug to safeguard the boiler metal against unsafe operating temperatures Induced draught, balanced draught system Two nos. safety relief valves Combustion Air Pre-Heater This unit recovers the maximum possible heat from the outgoing flue gases & pre-heats the combustion air. Pre-heated combustion air improves combustion conditions in the furnace / radiant heating zone. This also enables the achievement of superior overall thermal efficiency Feed Water Pre-Heater This unit recovers the maximum possible heat from the outgoing flue gases & pre-heats the incoming boiler feed water. This enables removal of dissolved CO: & O: from feed water & reduces the corrosive effect on the boiler metal & to certain extent avoids hard scales formation on the heat exchange surface. Fabrication for Excellence The fabrication of the boiler is carried out fully in accordance with the Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) Act. Tube is expanded & seal welded while carrying out the tube to tube sheet fixing. Alll applicable & specified weld joints (as per IBR) are 100% X-Ray tested & D. P. tested. The entire assembly comprising of shell with smoke tubes & furnace is hydro tested after completion of manufacturing at specified pressure & time as per IBR act. Mechanized fuel feeding system available as an optional accessory Wealso supply a mechanized fuel feeding system for ourintegral furnace boilersas an optional accessory. a 7 Technical Specifications Unie SrIrms00. arirz6oo SFINB7SO SVIFBI000 SFIFB1S00 sF1rB2000 srIrB2800. s¥i¥B2000 | Mle S00 60 780= 00018002000 as00 2000 ae Pesee “3 sone) sna % ” Biomass / Arowaste Briquettes / Coal / Lignte / Wood statonary Grate gine 98 148 195 207 396 495 saa keer 81 m2 161 22 222 03 aa yh 100 151 201 301 201 502 602 kefhr 117 176 235 352 369 587 708 aw 3 3 3 3 48 4s. 18 ky ame aaa 56. 75 939 na kw 628 waza a6 rr 1389187 187 mv 636823, a3 toe 73a 8 m3 mm 30003000250 3500 37504750 000 5300 ma 1900=~=«2000 20280 2002500 27502800 mm 2100-2200 287S—2480 27002750 24502900 =m 300300300 ‘300 335 350 400 ‘450 fg 600067507500 ©8250 ©9750 © 1175013780 18750 ye 9000 1080011800 «1300016000 2028022780 27000 ‘Semi-automatic, mechanized fuel feeding & fring system can be supplied upon specific request by the customer. **Fuel consumption figures are based onthe folowing fuel calorific vlues ‘Agrowaste Briguettes = 3500 kcaVkg, Coal = 4300 kcal, lignite = 3450 kcaVkg, Wood = 2950 kala ***Dry weight mentioned above is for boiler designed fora design pressure (SVLOF) of 10 54 kale () ++++Flooded weight mentioned aboe s for bolle designed for a design pressure (SV/LO?) of 10.54 kgf? Each kilogram of steam would then have received 540 kcal of heat from the boiler. Boilers are often operated with feed water temperatures lower than 100°C. Consequently the boiler is required to supply the sensible heat to bring the water up to the boiling point. Most boilers operate at pressures higher than atmospheric, because steam at an elevated pressure carries more heat energy than does steam at 100 C. This calls for additional enthalpy of saturation of water. As the boiler pressure increases, the saturation temperature is increased, needing even more enthalpy before the feed wateris brought up to the boiling temperature. Both these effects reduce the actual steam output of the boiler, for the same consumption of fuel. The below given graph shows the actual steam output from the boiler as a % of the ‘from & at rating as a function of feed water temperature & boiler operation pressures of 10.54 kg/cm (g), 14 ka/em?
