The table indicated the information on consumer spending on different category in five

countries Ireland, Italy, Spain, Swenden and Turkey. Overall, the proportion of food,
drinks and tobacco is highest consumer spending in all of five countries and the different
countries’ consumer spending were quite different.
In Ireland and Turkey, food, drinks and tobacco were near 30%, while in the other three
countries they are under 20%. However, the percentage of money paid for leisure and
education were the least. For example, in Turkey, they were 4.35% and in the other
countries the percentage were under 4%. Clothing and footwear in Italy got 9% and in
Sweden, they were 5,4%. In other countries the rate were similar nearly 6.5%
