A pleasant morning!

,let me start with a story, The Story of the two wolves

This is an old Cherokee Indian story,“Cherokee is a member of an American Indian people

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said,
"My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all." "It is a terrible fight and it is between two
wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, greed, arrogance, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies,
false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The
same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too." The grandson thought about it
for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?" The old Cherokee simply
replied, "The one you feed"

PRAYER

Father of all mercies,

we thank you for your goodness and kindness
to us. We thank you for all the blessings you bestowed upon us
but above all for your unfathomable love.

Almighty God, help us find ways to manage our minds so that we can live our lives more in
accordance with what your own judgment says is best for us. We are all aware that there are things in
the world which we seem powerless to control, the other wolf in us, the one that should not be fed,
these are our own thoughts, feelings, and actions which unfortunately can be the source of much
suffering. Please give us the strength to win in this battle.

Preserve us with your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and
in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose.

As we will be taking another journey to do our responsibilities today and the coming days in this place
protect each one of us and drive far from it all snares of the enemy; let your holy angels dwell with us
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
