Part 1: Building trust with rapport

Summary:
In this lesson you will learn how to use rapport to build massive trust with your clients.
Once a bond is built you can uncover the real needs and desires of your clients. Trust allows a
client to let their guard down so they reveal critical information that you need to close the sale.
Information like:

> What is our budget?

> How do you make the buying decision?

> What is the timeline for this purchase?

> Who makes the decision?

> What do I need to do to win your business?

One of the keys to building rapport is to pay attention to the words that people use. People
mainly fall into one of three modalities (visual, auditory and kinesthetic). Visual people use
words like clear and bright. Auditory people use phrases like that sound right to me. Kinesthetic
people use words like impact.

Included in this lesson is a chart that is useful in identifying these words. This chart will also help
you translate words from one modality to another.

Part 2: Setting Expectations

Summary: People want to know what is going to happen during this meeting. Asking a customer
what their expectations are helps you ensure this meeting will be of high value to them. This
allow customers to relax so they are less guarded. It also allows you to prepare the customer to
give you the information you need to close the sale.

Part 3: Getting Leverage

Summary:
In this lesson you will learn how to uncover the customers' problems. Then how to dig deeper
so the customer realizes the impact of not fixing the problem. The impact will be a combination
of the following:
> Financial (losing money)

Part 4: Information Gathering

Part 5: Summation

Summary:
In this section you learn how to sum up the magnitude of the problem including the financial
and emotional impact for the customer. Summation drives the customer to fix the problem
right now. This is how you beat the competition and win the sale.

Part 6: Harnessing

Summary: In part six we go for the close. When you use the summation (part 5) to ask for the
sale you will receive on of 4 responses:
1> Yes, I want to buy! Congratulations you just made a sale.

2> No because of X (any excuse). This is where you handle the objection and ask for the sales
again.

3> Hell No! This is where you lose the sale and move on to the next opportunity.
