Example: The local area is situated near several universities and schools, which
may be tapped for the young market of the project. Barangay Central is also located
near several churches, from where the family market may be tapped. Especially during
Sundays and day of services. The site is also surrounded by various public and private
offices, business establishments and other institutions.
The City has the highest consumer purchasing power with the average family
income higher than the regional and national average.
G. General Area Evaluation
Example: Quezon City is now being promoted as the new business center, with
the long-term developmental process already in progress in different parts of the city.
There is now the development for the Lagro Metropolitan Center where the new Sm
Fairview is situated. There is also a planned construction of a new Ayala Mall/Hotel in
the vicinity of the Elliptical Road.
Based on the group’s analysis of Quezon City , the planning group concludes
that the project shows great promise in the area, owing to the probable commercial
boom in the next five years, which the group plans to take full advantage of.
